| About Producer | This producer used to sell its grapes to the local cooperative until 2004. When Laurent Cognard returned to his family's estate, things changed. He has overhauled the vineyards and set about making fine steely wines on the stony soils of Montagny. He maintains the local traditions but also looks to the future for better ways of working and has replaced his small casks with 600-litre barrels to look for better integration between his mineral wines and wood. |
