Château du Moulin Rouge Cru Bourgeois
|Elegant floral aromas alongside generous ripe fruit spice and oak lead to plump black fruits on the palate and elegant tannins.
|Château Moulin Rouge has been passed down through thirteen generations of the same family and it would be an understatement to say that they were passionate about it. It has a great position just south of St Julien-Beychevelle, they use plenty of new oak and everything is worked by hand. A favourite of Robert Parker, who in his book ‘Bordeaux’ describes it as: “… somewhat reminiscent of such wines as Hortevie and Terrey-Gros-Caillou… Of course, du Moulin Rouge is significantly less expensive since it is entitled only to the Haut Medoc appellation”.
|Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
